The Southern Summer

As the northern winter dragged on we hatched a plan to head southwards and return to South America.

The original plan was the deep south - Antartica - but the price tag is mind blowing so something more modest had to do ! Although adding it all up that may not be quite true. So using BA points and planning well in advance we booked to Santiago via Sao Paolo and on Wednesday 18th January having not forgotten Carlo and BeBe we started the trek.

It will involve crossing the Atlantic Ocean, crossing the South American Continent, traversing the length of Chile and heading out into the South Atlantic before heading north again.

Summer In Slovenia

Without the contstraints of limited holiday days we headed south on Road Trip through the Netherlands, Germany Austria to Slovenia with Carlo & BeBe and of course AC !

A Journey into the Tea Country

Delhi - Gauwahti - Manus NP - Up River - Pobitora NP - Kaziranga NP - Nameri NP - Gauwhati - Delhi

After a month in the new job it seems like a good idea to take a two week break. As it happens everything was pre-booked some time ago before a move back to Hong Kong was on the cards so no choice but to go ahead !

The plan will take us first to Delhi and then east to Assam where we have planned visits to a couple of National Parks; a couple of days on the Brahmaputra; and finally as stay at a Tea Plantation. But its India so things may not go quite according to plan.
